Complete Pal acquisition workflow
How to Get Any Pal: Find the Parents, Catch Them, and Plan the Breeding Route
A practical Palworld 1.0 workflow for choosing a target, comparing parent acquisition difficulty, adding caught Pals to your local Palbox, and recalculating the shortest breeding route.
A breeding formula is only the first step. Palweave connects the formula to the missing parents, their verified acquisition facts, and the route you can actually complete from your Palbox.
From a target Pal to an actionable route
- Search for the target. Use the directory of all 299 Pals or choose a target in the planner.
- Review the recommended parents. The target page ranks direct combinations and explains why a pair is relatively easier for the current Palbox.
- Compare acquisition difficulty. A normal wild spawn may be more convenient than an Alpha, dungeon, event, raid, or parent that first requires another breeding chain.
- Check where and when each parent appears. Acquisition cards show the region, level range, day or night condition, access prerequisite, data version, and source when those facts are verified.
- Add a caught parent to the local Palbox. The Palbox is stored in this browser; no account or cloud upload is required.
- Recalculate the shortest route. The planner starts from the Pals now in your Palbox and can replace a multi-generation chain with a shorter available combination.
- Try an alternative combination. Compare options such as no Legendary parent, no Alpha, no night capture, direct wild capture, or fewer prerequisite generations.
- Read uncertainty honestly. A partial status means only part of the acquisition picture is verified; unknown means the current-version location is still being checked. Neither is presented as a confirmed wild spawn.

The owned-Pals shortest-path Guide uses a route calculated by the production engine: starting from Blazamut and Jetragon, then adding the verified wild parent Eidrolon Ignis to shorten the route to Solenne.
Choose the right entry point
- Plan a route from Pals you own when your Palbox should determine the starting point.
- Calculate a parent combination or browse all target combos for a direct formula lookup.
- Review the Palworld 1.0 data methodology for sources, versions, downloads, audits, and known limitations.
